General Donation

You can choose to donate once or on a monthly basis to help assist Back to Natives with the many programs and projects we have in the works. Your small monthly donation will bring HUGE support for Back to Natives!

Donate Monthly
Habitat Restoration

Restoration can be an expensive proposition. Scientific studies, manual labor, contractors and permitting all cost money. Your donation is essential to assist BTN in bringing back the native ecosystems to our open spaces.
Native Plant Propagation

BTN recognizes the need for the ready availability of native plants. To this end, BTN has worked toward opening our Back to Natives Nusery at Santiago Park! Funding is needed to purchase irrigation and propagation equipment. All levels of donation are appreciated!

Volunteer Appreciation and Retention

Volunteers are the heart blood of most Non-Profits. To this end BTN wishes to thank one and all that have come out to our Volunteer Restoration Days and helped us make this planet a better place in our own backyard! Volunteers deserve recognition and our appreciation. Without them many of our projects would not have succeeded.
If you would like to host a Volunteer Appreciation Dinner or BBQ, or even a Beach Day, let us know, we would be happy to put the word out!

You're always being asked to help with causes that are far away. Those causes are important, but if you really want to see results from your efforts and from your donations, act locally.

Back to Natives restores habitat in and around Orange County, California. Habitat restoration that needs to happen so that our wild, open spaces are healthy for animals and for people to enjoy.

This will be the third year that Back to Natives volunteers remove star thistle on Elsinore Peak in the Cleveland National Forest. Unfortunately it's the first year the USFS cannot reimburse us for our expenses (insurance, transportation costs, etc.).

Each year we've managed to remove 100% of the thistle from within our project boundaries - and each year fewer of the plants return from seed! Our volunteers are truly making a difference, but we need your help to make it happen.

We need your donation - of any size - to hold volunteer events (like these) and accomplish our goal of removing the non-native Star Thistle that is invading the Chaparral, and threatening the area's unique biodiversity.

Please help BTN continue to combat invasive non-native plants in California Wildlands right here in Southern California. Please donate today.

Check out photos of volunteers working hard last Summer on Elsinore Peak, and if you'd like to come out and help us this year, the volunteer dates are listed HERE.

Please donate just $5 today Or as much as you can afford to give to make this project happen!
If every BTN Friend gave just $5 today, the Elsinore Peak Star Thistle Removal Project would be fully funded for the year!
Many slivers add up to a whole.
Please donate just $5 today towards the San Mateo Wildereness Habitat Restoration Pie! Funding still needed to cover the costs from this past season.
If every BTN Friend gave just $5 today, the San Mateo Wilderness Italian Thistle Removal Project would be fully funded for the year!

Restoration Volunteer Training Program

Please help us at BTN continue this project, to help preserve and restore our County's and Nation's natural heritage! Our goal is $9800/year to be sure all aspects of this program can be addressed!

Staff Salary and Overhead

Non-Profit staff are perceived as volunteers by many. Although Non-Profits need volunteers to fulfill many of their goals and functions, core staff members are in fact paid employees at most Non-Profits. BTN wishes to provide compet
itive salaries and benefits for staff. You can help by assisting us to meet our salary and overhead needs. This will enable us to hire and retain qualified, highly educated, experienced and creative staff.
